Becoming Lean: what is required? We are drowning in data, not information
Background: Manufacturers today are not only expected to produce high volume, but produce a high mix of products. In order to efficiently manage constant changes in the process, and achieve performance goals with minimal waste, the manufacturer needs to be able to make fast, accurate and effective decisions.
So how are Lean goals realized? Lack of information, combined with increased process complexity is a key reason for Manufacturers' falling short of their Performance goals. Fraysen Systems' unique approach to eradicating these bottlenecks involves transferring maximum task responsibility to the people adding value to the product on the line, and tracing every problem, once discovered, back to its ultimate cause. Fraysen Systems takes away ambiguity and replaces it with accurate fact about what is happening, why it is happening and how it can be solved and/or improved.
