
A Case Study for Web-store to MIS Integration
THE PROBLEM
The Slate Group wanted to eliminate the manual process of transferring order information from their Pageflex Storefront into their PACE management information system (MIS). While Pageflex allows orders to be entered quickly, there was a chasm between the online store and the actual printing systems.
This was particularly problematic because Slate Group provides close to 100 separate storefronts to various customers. All told, these storefronts produced massive amounts of information that had to be manually processed before the jobs could be produced.
